Esquis employs the Ascending Bid method, a dynamic process requiring a minimum of two bidders. The Auctioneer initiates by calling for an opening price, and buyers engage in a competitive bidding process until no new bids are placed. The auction concludes when the Auctioneer declares "SOLD."
Online Auctions:
During the Auction timeframe, buyers submit bids, with the highest bid at the conclusion securing the item. Buyers can opt for a "MAX BID," allowing the computer to automatically place bids up to their specified maximum if competing bids are received.
Esquis implements a "SOFT CLOSE" for online auctions, wherein any bid in the last minute extends the auction duration, providing other bidders an opportunity to place additional bids.
Online & Live Auctions:
Buyers, connected to the internet from anywhere globally, can participate in real-time bidding against both online participants and those physically present on the auction floor.
